It offers a comprehensive set of safety features, excellent versatility, and tremendous value.The Sportage is a five passenger vehicle that is offered in front-wheel (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD). A 176-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine is standard on the Base (FWD only), LX and EX trims. A 256-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine is standard on the SX trim and available on all other trims. A six-speed manual transmission is standard on the Base trim, while a six-speed automatic transmission is optional on the Base and standard on all other trims. Standard safety features include four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, electronic stability program, traction control, and six airbags, including side curtain airbags. Some of the available features include: power heated leather seats, power folding mirrors, 18-inch alloy wheels, dual zone automatic climate control, a cooled glovebox, and a rear camera.The Kia Sportage continues for 2013 with minimal changes.
